⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE

By accessing, connecting a wallet, depositing funds, or using the GoodBoy service in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use this service.

1. Acceptance of Risk

Pepe's Dog is an experimental cryptocurrency tipping system built on blockchain technology. By using this service, you acknowledge and accept the following risks:

  • Smart Contract Risk: The service relies on smart contracts deployed on Ethereum and Base networks. Smart contracts may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, or design flaws that could result in partial or total loss of funds.
  • Blockchain Risk: Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Once a transaction is confirmed, it cannot be reversed or refunded.
  • Bridge Risk: Cross-chain transfers use the Wormhole bridge protocol. Bridge protocols have historically been targets for exploits and may fail or be compromised.
  • Custodial Risk: While users maintain ownership of their smart account wallets, the service uses delegated permissions for gasless tipping. A compromise of backend systems could result in unauthorized transfers.
  • Key Management Risk: You are solely responsible for securing your wallet private keys. Loss of private keys will result in permanent loss of access to your funds.
  • Network Risk: The Ethereum and Base networks may experience congestion, downtime, or other issues that could delay or prevent transactions.

2. No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
  • Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content or data
  • Warranties that defects will be corrected or that the service is free of viruses or harmful components

You use the service entirely at your own risk. No advice or information obtained from the service creators shall create any warranty not expressly stated herein.

3. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE CREATORS, DEVELOPERS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND ANY AFFILIATED PARTIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

  • Direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
  • Loss or theft of cryptocurrency or digital assets
  • Damages resulting from smart contract exploits, hacks, or vulnerabilities
  • Damages resulting from bridge protocol failures or exploits
  • Damages resulting from user error, lost private keys, or unauthorized access
  • Damages resulting from service downtime, bugs, or malfunctions
  • Damages resulting from third-party services (Twitter, Wormhole, blockchain networks, etc.)

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) and whether or not the possibility of such damages was known or foreseeable.

4. Complete Release of Claims

By logging in, connecting a wallet, or depositing funds, you hereby IRREVOCABLY AND UNCONDITIONALLY RELEASE, WAIVE, AND DISCHARGE the service creators and all affiliated parties from any and all claims, demands, damages, actions, causes of action, liabilities, costs, and expenses of any kind arising from or related to:

  • Your use of the service
  • Any loss of funds for any reason, including but not limited to theft, hacks, exploits, bugs, or user error
  • Any failure of the service to function as expected or described
  • Any delay or failure in processing transactions
  • Any unauthorized access to your account or wallet
  • Any changes to the service or discontinuation of the service

You acknowledge that this release is comprehensive and covers both known and unknown claims, and you expressly waive any rights under laws that limit releases to known claims.

5. How GoodBoy Works

Service Description

Pepe's Dog is a gasless Twitter tipping system that enables users to send ZEUS tokens to each other via Twitter hashtags. The system operates on Base L2 for low transaction costs and uses Wormhole for cross-chain bridging from Ethereum.

Smart Account Wallets

Each user is assigned a deterministic smart contract wallet (UserWallet) generated using their Twitter handle. These wallets are created using the CREATE2 opcode, ensuring the same Twitter handle always generates the same wallet address.

Delegation System & Smart Account Security

🔒 Important Security Notice:

The system NEVER requests delegation or permissions over your personal wallet (such as MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, etc.). The delegation mechanism described below applies ONLY to the Smart Account (UserWallet) that the system creates for you on Base L2, which is a completely separate contract wallet that exists solely for managing your tips within this platform.

To enable gasless tipping, your Smart Account (UserWallet) authorizes the TipManager contract as a delegate. This allows the TipManager to execute token transfers from your Smart Account only for tipping purposes. The backend relayer can trigger tips through the TipManager but cannot access any other wallets you own.

When you connect your personal wallet (EOA) to claim ownership of your Smart Account, you gain full control and can withdraw funds at any time. Your personal wallet remains completely separate and is never granted any permissions by this system.

Cross-Chain Bridging

Deposits and withdrawals between Ethereum and Base use the Wormhole token bridge protocol. Transfers typically take 10-30 minutes to complete as they require guardian signatures and VAA (Verifiable Action Approval) proofs.

User Ownership

Users can claim ownership of their UserWallet by connecting an EOA (Externally Owned Account) wallet like MetaMask. Once claimed, only the wallet owner can withdraw funds or execute non-tip transactions.

6. Smart Contracts - AI Security Analysis

All smart contracts deployed for this service have been analyzed using advanced AI-based security tools including Slither static analyzer and comprehensive manual review. However, AI-based audits are not equivalent to professional security audits by established firms.

⚠️ Security Notice:

While AI tools can identify many common vulnerabilities, they may miss complex attack vectors, economic exploits, or novel security issues. Users should not consider AI analysis as a guarantee of security.

7. Known Risks and Limitations

The following risks and limitations are explicitly acknowledged:

Centralization Risks

  • All contracts are pausable and owned by the ZEUS CTO DAO
  • Service depends on centralized infrastructure (Vercel, Twitter, etc.)

Operational Risks

  • No rate limiting on tips (potential for spam or abuse)
  • Twitter/X API dependency for mention detection
  • Wormhole bridge dependency for cross-chain transfers

Security Considerations

  • Smart contracts rely on external dependencies (OpenZeppelin, Wormhole)
  • Cross-chain transfers depend on Wormhole guardian network availability
